Why are we here?

Why are we here?

What if the answer to this question is that there is no answer, or no answer worthy of realizing? What if the "whole point" is that we can define our own existance on our own terms?

The Meaning of Life

What is the meaning of life?

We define every aspect of our own existance inside our consciousness, on our own terms. Our "realities" are constructed based on our own perceptions and personal relativity to the universe. All descriptors and value assignments of our reality are manufactured from our experiences, conditioning, and neural networks and models, all inside our head. Is there really an objective right or wrong? Sure there are absolutes, calculatable interactions outside our mind (physics), but can you tie this absolutism to morality and anything riddled with emotions? Or are emotions just more descriptors we invent to relate to the universe in relative terms? In order to interact effectively, we need dualities, we need meaning; however, our perception of reality could be an illusion. Think of someone you know that is "clueless" about something non-provable (theology, philosophy, morality). Why do you think they are clueless? Why are you more right about objective reality than they are? Maybe you're the dufus.

The answer is that there is no absolute answer. It's a relative question.

On Fate vs Free Will

What is fate?

Fate, also described as determinism, is the belief that all future events can be predicted, with the use of the laws of nature, ahead of time if all prior and present events are taken into account.

A popular example of determinism is Laplace’s demon. Imagine an entity that uses knowledge of past and present events and predicts the future using the laws of the universe. Obviously, no human or other living organism for that matter has this ability.
